JEERA RICE | HOW TO MAKE QUICK & EASY JEERA RICE | ONE POT MEAL

THIS IS QUICK & EASY ONE POT METHOD.


INGREDIENTS
  • BASMATI RICE / PULAO RICE 1 CUP
  • CUMIN SEEDS 1 TSP
  • WHOLE SPICES , CARDAMON, CLOVE, STAR ANISE, BAY LEAF 1 EACH
  • GHEE 1 TSP
  • OIL 1 TSP
  • SALT AS REQUIRED
  • WATER 2 CUPS
METHOD:
  • HEAT OIL AND GHEE IN A PAN OR COOKER
  • ONCE ITS HOT ADD IN THE WHOLE SPICES AND SAUTE FOR MIN
  • ONCE IT STARTS RELEASING AROMA ADD IN 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINS.
  • NOW ADD IN WASHED & SOAKED RICE MIX WELL
  • ADD IN REQUIRED SALT AND ADD IN WATER
  • COVER AND COOK FOR TWO WHISTLES ON HIGH FLAME IF USING PRESSURE COOKER /OR TILL RICE IS COOKED ON OPEN METHOD..
