Whole wheat chocolate cake

Chocolate cakes are my all time favourite.. From the time I started baking  wanted to try a whole wheat version of it.
Here in this cake whole wheat is used , no eggs and melted butter is used..
This is soft and moist cake & healthy..
You can store it for several days..

Sharing with you all the recipe..

Whole wheat chocolate cake:
Pre heat the oven at 177° c  ie 350F

Whole wheat flour 11/4 cup
Granulated sugar 1 cup
Coco powder ( not Dutch processed ) 1/4 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 3/4 tsp
Melted butter 1/3 cup ( unsalted butter)
Lime juice 1 tablespoon
Warm water 1 cup
Vanilla extract 1 tsp ( try to use pure vanilla extract )
Salt 1/4 tsp

Method:
In a bowl sift flour, coco powder,
To that add baking powder , soda and sugar
Whisk well so that everything get mixed properly
In a separate jar whisk water, melted butter, lime juice and vanilla extract.
Nw add this wet mixture to the dry and mix until everything is incorporated..
Now pour into a greesed pan ( greese the pan and line with parchment paper or you can even dust the flour)  &
Bake for around 25 to 30 min. (Or untill the tooth pick inserted comes out clean)
Once it is done remove from the oven and keep it to cool on a wire rack..

You can frost this  as well..
