Egg and Mushroom toran

Ingredients

  1. Button mushrooms ( washed and cleaned )
  2. Egg
  3. Onion finely chopped
  4. Tomato finely chopped
  5. Green chilly
  6. Coriander powder
  7. Chilly powder
  8. Turmeric powder
  9. Pepper powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil as required
  12. Coriander leafs for garnishing


Method

  • Wash and cut the mushrooms into small pieces
  • Cook mushrooms with pinch of turmeric and salt and keep aside
  • In a pan, add oil once it is hot add chopped tomatos and onions and sauté well
  • To this add eggs and green chilly and mix them well for around 2 min
  • Then, add chilly powder, coriander powder pepper powder and sauté well
  • To this mixture add the cooked mushrooms and mix thoroughly
  • Let it cook under lower flame for 2 to 3 mins
  • Garnish with coriander leafs.
  • Serve hot with rice & chapathi
  • It's a very simple dish
