No wedding or party is complete without chole.
This recipe i feel is so easy and tasty as well. I have used TATA SAMPANN CHOLE MASALA POWDER,you can even use homemade chole masala powder, this is best for working people especially if you do not have much time to cook & if you are too lazy to cook like me at times, this recipe works well.

INGREDIENTS
- Chickpea soaked overnight
- Onions 2 nos chopped
- Tomato 2 nos chopped
- Ginger & Garlic 1 tsp
- Green chilli 2 nos slit
- Chole Masala powder 1 sachet ( TATA SAMPANN POWDER COMES IN EACH SACHET) if using homemade powder use 1 to 2 Tbsp
- Salt as required
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves handful
METHOD
- Boil chickpeas and keep aside
- Heat oil in a pan , once its hot add chopped onions and ginger garlic saute till it turns slightly brown
- Once onions are cooked well add in tomatoes and cook till oil starts releasing from the sides.
- To that add Masala powder and mix well
- Add in silt green chili as well
- Check for seasoning at this point.
- Finally add in boiled chickpeas and combine well
- Add in chopped coriander
- Cover and cook for about 10 mins or you can cook for 1 whistle also.
- Chole is ready to be served
Serve it with Poori, Roti or Jeera Rice
