INGREDIENTS- Chicken 300 grams
- Onions chopped 1 nos
- Tomato chopped 1 nos
- Green chilies 2 nos
- Ginger 1/2 inch chopped
- Garlic 3 pods chopped
- Curry leaves
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder 1-2 tsp
- Dry red chilly 2 nos
- Coconut grated or cut into pieces 1/4 cup
- Coconut oil 1 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Boil chicken for two whistles along with garlic and pepper
- Once it is boiled shred the chicken pieces without bone and keep aside
- Now heat oil in a pan,once its hot add curry leaves and dry red chilly and roast for a min let it not burn
- To that add chopped onions,ginger,garlic, green chilies and saute till the raw smell goes
- Then add in chopped tomatoes and cook till its mushy
- Once tomatoes are cooked well add in the shredded chicken and cook on high flame for 2 mins
- To this add the masala powders and saute well
- Adjust the salt at this point
- Add in the coconut pieces and roast everything on medium flame for around 5 mins
- Finally garnish with little curry leaves and serve it hot
